This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, successful and tenacious account manager to join a thriving national company to help them achieve their ambitious growth plans. We are looking for someone with exceptional relationship building skills, who can spot opportunities, manage client projects and help implement strategy by understanding forecasts, budgets and the market.
Our client works mainly within the public sector, health and education so a history and an understanding of selling into clients such as local authority and universities is key. We are looking for someone motivated by achieving targets, has a passion for providing a service that truly makes a difference and has an outgoing, approachable personality which will allow them to gain the trust of new accounts, and develop those long-term relationships.
You will need to have a solid, demonstrable history in an account management role, ideally at a senior level. Whilst you won’t be leading a team initially you may need to step into more of a managerial role periodically in order to direct/support/coach other team members. This role is currently remote, but when things return to ‘normal’ you will be expected to travel to meet with your clients.
We're looking for candidates who live anywhere in the North of England, but the role will be home based.
