We’re recruiting for an (Internal) Project Manager for a company that provides an innovative, software solution to a broad range of commercial and public sector clients, throughout the UK.  You don’t necessarily have to have a background in technology or a formal project management qualification, however recent, relevant experience in a similar role, is a must where you can show evidence of managing a product through the full implementation lifecycle.

This is a great opportunity to join an organisation that’s growing, where there’s genuine development/progression opportunities and a long-term career.

Reporting to the Internal Project Manager, your focus will be to plan, deliver and monitor key internal projects. You’ll:

  • Produce project plans and continually update them as things change, working with internal stakeholders to communicate the project status and ensure everyone’s up to speed

  • Manage all associated project documentation in line with project management principles

  • Identify resources required to ensure the project’s delivered on time and within budget. This includes managing risks and contingency planning

  • Have responsibility for managing the day-to-day aspects of the project’s implementation, including the management of internal resources and change control

Although a formal project management qualification isn’t a ‘must have’ you will need to fully understand project management methodology (Agile, Prince2), financial planning/forecasting and management and be highly organised. You’ll be someone who has managed multiple project timelines.

Person-wise, this role you’ll be someone with an incredible eye for detail, who’s a natural relationship builder and proactive when it comes to getting things done. You’re inquisitive, confident to share your views and understands when there’s a need for confidentiality.

This role will be full-time office based with some scope to hybrid working after suitable training/settling in period.  As well as a competitive salary, you’ll get an enhanced holiday entitlement, a generous company pension scheme as well as other optional benefits. Interested? If you’d like to know more, please contact Toni on 01392 873813 who’ll be happy to go through the role in more detail.
