This is a tremendous opportunity to join a growing technology company as they seek a Technical Lead to manage and motivate an external development team and helping to recruit and grow an internal development team. The company works with a range of clients including public sector and private organisations of different sizes.

The role is hands-on in technical development so would suit an experienced full stack developer looking to move up a level into a project lead or technical mentor, or someone with previous experience in a similar role. You’ll be a key part of the senior technical team, helping to design, build, and deliver solutions to clients using the latest Microsoft infrastructure.

It’s important you’re comfortable speaking directly with clients to establish their requirements and then translating this into a technical solution. You’ll lead the technical development of multiple projects concurrently, using Microsoft SharePoint and other related skills such as JavaScript, JSON, PowerShell, .NET, HTML, CSS and jQuery.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience building and deploying webparts and custom site designs

  • Knowledge of TypeScript/React is essential

  • Previously used CI tools and/or DevOps methodologies

  • Someone who has experience of supporting and mentoring a team - or a desire to do so

  • Great problem solving skills and comfortable talking to clients directly and managing any issues that arise through to resolution stage

  • Performing code reviews to keep the codebase clean for each project

  • Experience with SharePoint Online, integrations with Microsoft 365 apps, and records management processes would be highly beneficial

The company culture is fantastic and they offer a range of company benefits including a performance related bonus scheme, training and development, flexi-time, long-term remote working and 25 days holiday.

They’re ready to recruit immediately, so if you’re interested (or know someone who is) please get in touch with Sky for a confidential chat.
