We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Web Developer to join an award-winning and ambitious company based in Exeter. This will be on a 12-month contract initially, with the potential to become a full-time position. As their portfolio and reputation continues to thrive, they’re after an extra pair of hands to help turn designs into high quality and responsive websites.
The office has a relaxed and friendly feel and the team are all very passionate about what they do which really shines through in their work. Being a smaller company, it’s fast paced and busy - most of their clients are based locally, but they also work on national and international projects too. There will be heaps of variety as their clients work across a range of sectors including charities, solicitors, healthcare, hospitality and more!
You’ll need a strong portfolio, and they’re after someone with at least a four years’ experience in a Web Development role. You’ll be someone who is super enthusiastic, has an eye for detail and great communication skills.
Are you right for the role?
4 years’ experience or more in a Web Development role
You’ll have strong skills in responsive CSS, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, and PHP and will also require and understanding of design and UX principles
Confident with the Adobe Creative Suite
Great time management skills and organisational ability
A relevant degree or qualification in an appropriate field
Experience with WordPress, E-Commerce platforms (such as WooCommerce, Shopify and Magento)and CMS systems is desirable
Project management experience would be advantageous
