​This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact with a company who are really going places! Over the past few years they’ve experienced a period of significant growth and positive change. They continue to be a fast-growing organisation – despite the current situation – and are now looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to join their friendly team.

Working closely with the wider IT team, you’ll be responsible for providing day to day support and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and will aid as a technical lead across many areas including networking, virtualisation, Microsoft stack, security, storage and cloud. You’ll have heaps of opportunities to show your initiative and there will be a strong emphasis on identifying, scoping and implementing improvements.

The role will involve building close working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, so you’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The company are less fussed about qualifications - a proven track record and someone who share their values and will fit in well with the existing team is really key for them. If you do have relevant qualifications though, that’s a bonus!

Key skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Microsoft Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/GPO services

  • Microsoft Exchange Architecture, administration and maintenance

  • Use of Microsoft Desktop Platforms

  • A solid background with VMWare Virtualisation

  • Network Administration (Switching, Routing, VLANs)

  • The ability to convey technical information to a range of different audiences

  • A proactive nature to identify and solve issues

  • Self-motivation and a desire to get the job done to a high standard and improve practices

Please note: When travel restrictions are lifted and it’s safe to do so, there may be some occasional international travel required as part of the role.
