Our client are leaders in their field within the manufacturing industry. With over 35 years’ experience and having a presence in a number of countries, this really is a great opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join a busy, global business.
You will be working alongside and supporting the internal sales team with a number of administrative tasks such as quotations and forecasts as well as scheduling agreements from customers and distributors. There will also be times where you will be helping with procurement, logistics and the organisation of some internal events.
We are looking for a very organised individual who is confident, with a good telephone manner. Previous experience in a similar type of role is key.
What you will be doing:
Following tenders and submitting quotations
Handling technical questions from distributors by liaising to the appropriate person internally to get answers
Monitoring and reporting on sales and sharing with the wider team
Making sure customer claims are handled correctly
Manage the communication chain between the logistics team and arrange any necessary deliveries
Negotiating price with suppliers (in conjunction with the Sales Engineers)
Handle issues with late payments
Monitor and report on office expenses
Organising internal events to support the introduction of new products (training, workshop etc.)
As well as a competitive salary, this client is offering on-going training and development, plus progression opportunities. This is a remote based role currently but the offices are in Exeter and it's envisaged that there will be some office-working in the future however, this can be flexible.
