Some of what you’ll be doing

This role will primarily be overseeing the daily operations of the store. You will be responsible for leading the retail team. Driving a successful sales culture and striving to meet and exceed retail sales targets. All the while, implementing a continuous improvement mind-set within the team and working in partnership with the wider Design Team, B2B, online and Marketing manager. Unleashing your creativity, you’ll be responsible for all store visual merchandising and ensuring displays are current, relevant and include bestselling lines. Monitor slow selling or discontinued lines and reduce to clear as necessary. Supporting the team to handling customer complaints and issues as they arise. Reporting clear sales data to the MD and Finance Manager. Ensuring Store opening and closing procedures are followed, along with all the relevant and up to date H&S and GDPR legislation.


You’ll be someone who has:

  • Management experience in a similar retail role

  • A real passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service, ideally within interiors but not essential.

  • A natural ability to build high-performing teams and results driven

  • Commercial awareness – A sensible, logical thinker

  • Real gravitas and a high achiever (Someone who can deliver against plan!)

  • Strong, honest, and open communicator

  • Continuous improvement at the forefront of your mind

  • Good standard of numerical and written skills and ability to interpret data

  • Intermediate MS Excel capabilities

  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure (You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment)

  • A flexible approach to working hours, including weekend work
