This is an incredibly exciting, brand new opportunity for our hugely successful, growing client. We are looking for an ambitious individual with a technical background who understands selling to large, corporate organisations, enjoys securing new business and can successfully manage relationships.
The organisation's looking for someone ideally in or around the Bristol area as many of the partner companies are located along the M4 corridor, the main office is in Exeter, so there will be a need to travel to that office from time to time.
This role will all be about identifying potential partnership opportunities and building alliances with organisations where both parties benefit from the relationship. Whilst this is essentially a sales role, you are not selling the company’s products! Your role is all about building up relationships with desirable partners which increases the benefits that the company are able to offer to their customers which in turn brings business to the partner company.
Key responsibilities
Identify and act on new partnership opportunities
Develop strong relationships with partners and support them in selling the service
Produce and present quarterly business reviews
Regular travel across the UK to meet with current and potential partners
Support partners internal sales teams - providing training etc.
Meet and exceed targets to assist with the company growth plan
The person
The ability to pitch confidently and passionately in an engaging way
Experience selling technical products/services
A talent for spotting and grasping strategically sound business opportunities
The right mind-set & enthusiasm to successfully seek, develop and nurture business relationships
Strong interpersonal / people skills
The ability to comfortably liaise with director level within large organisations
Previous experience building high-value, strategic partnerships would be preferred but is not essential.
