This role will work alongside and provide support to the CEO of an organisation that focuses on the drive towards net zero carbon status. It’s an exciting time to join them as they have ambitious and exciting plans for growth. With a global presence - their work is inspiring and the CEO incredibly innovative.

As you’d expect, this role will be a varied and therefore we’re looking for someone who’s highly organised - this role’s going to ideally suit someone with previous PA or project management background. This is a role that requires diary management, national and international travel management and general PA/admin support.

Fundamentally, you’ll be all about enabling/supporting the CEO to focus on the priorities for the organisation as a whole. You’ll be quick to understand workload and priorities and intuitively be able to manage information flow to the CEO – managing calls and emails, for example - on their behalf. You’ll also make sure that they have everything they need for internal and external meetings, and be instrumental in arranging them too.

As well as supporting the CEO in their work-life, there will also be an element of supporting their busy life outside of work too, and making sure that’s running smoothly. This might include managing household expenses and other members of that team.

Person-wise we’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, professional, with a positive and flexible approach to their work. You’ll be calm when things get busy and enjoy juggling priorities. You’ll have a natural flair for building positive working relationships – particularly with the CEO (this is key) -as well as with others externally and internally, of course. Above all, as this is a brand-new role, you’ll have the opportunity to really ‘make it your own’.

You’ll be joining a team based in a truly beautiful setting, however the location means that you’ll need to be able to drive and have your own car. They also have offices elsewhere (in the South West), so there’ll be some travel involved, including potentially, internationally (Europe). An added bonus would be if you had any additional languages. Initially this role will be office based to enable you to get up to speed as quickly as possible, however, there’ll be some flexibility longer-term.
