​I am delighted to say that we are working with this organisation on an exclusive basis. The role as Office Manager is brand new and they are looking for someone who has initiative and loves to take the pressure and admin side of things away from the directors and managers, so they can do their job. Personality wise, you will be someone who is strong, confident, adaptable and have a willingness to help. The role is one that will grow, partly due to growth of the organisation, but also your desire to develop will be key.

They are flexible on the actual hours – it could be 9.30am – 3.30pm, or on a full-time basis. What is important is that if you are looking for part time, the hours need to fixed.

Your role as Office Manager will include:

  • Oversee the workload of the 2 office juniors

  • Co-ordinating the meetings of staff, and updating them of information regarding clients

  • Answer incoming calls on reception (more on an overflow basis)

  • Maintaining and ordering of office supplies

  • Ensure that clients have received notification of meetings and sending any relevant information/ documentation

  • Updating of CRM system

  • Responsible for the training centre

  • Track staff training records and arrange any necessary training

  • Process and apply for DBS checks

  • Prepare reports for directors

  • Minute taking of meetings.

If you have worked in a busy office as an Office Manager, or perhaps in a Business Support capacity, I would love to hear from you. You do need to be someone that can deal with a changing environment and deal with challenging situations.

The office is based on the outskirts of Exeter, with free parking!
