​Do you like the thought of working for a well-established, family run business who are based on the outskirts of Exeter who, despite everything going on, is continuing to grow?

Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor who have over 25 years’ experience within their industry and they pride themselves on their brand. You will be joining a small but experienced marketing team where you will play a crucial, hands on role in order to supercharge the content and brand strategy in line with the big growth plans for 2021 and beyond.

Ideally, you’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a marketing role and looking to take that next step in your career. You will be working alongside the Head of Digital & Brand to implement the marketing strategy but equally you will bring new ideas to the table. The role is very hands on with the business content and brand marketing being your domain, so when you are not designing or updating content you will be planning and scheduling brand driven campaigns across email, social and web.

You must have a great attention to detail as well as being highly organised to succeed in this fast-paced environment as well as someone who would be willing to turn their hand to anything and be a real team player. Experience in the Adobe creative suite is essential as well demonstrable experience managing social and web content. This role would suit a self-starter who relishes working to deadlines but delivering real quality at the same time. Some knowledge of marketplace selling (eBay or amazon) as well as paid digital advertising would be great but is not essential.

More detail on what you’ll be doing:

  • Managing marketing collateral including the designing of the content as well as overseeing the print process

  • Working with 3rd parties/agencies for photo and video shoots for promotional content

  • Update and manage the B2B and B2C website content for SEO and UX

  • Create content to drive engagement and increase brand awareness

  • Plan and schedule social media and email campaigns

  • Carry out market, customer and audience research

  • Oversee event management for trade shows, exhibitions, client events and conferences (when we are allowed)
