This is a hugely exciting opportunity to join an incredibly successful, international company and help support them with their continued growth; commercially and within the team. This is a hand’s on, player/manager role overseeing the internal sales and marketing team, leading by example and developing/mentoring them to achieve more than before.
What we’re looking for:
A proven background within sales and a track record of overachieving
A solid and successful history of sales team management – we need someone who can hit the ground running with ideas for change and development already in their back pocket
Someone dynamic, personable but also strategically minded, focused on the commercial needs of the company
Key understanding of budgets, P&L and KPI setting – whilst the annual budget/forecast is outlined you will play a big hand in ensuring it is delivered and how you and the team will achieve it.
We need someone ambitious but also empathetic – the team are the main focus initially so a desire to challenge them and pull out their potential is essential
Ideally a background in export, manufacturing or product distribution but this is by no means essential
This role is an integral part of the business, so experience is key in order to succeed. Of course there will be product and industry training but a natural ability to lead and sell is paramount.
