​We’re working with an international company who are leaders in their field - and they’re growing! They are looking for an eCommerce Specialists to join the team in a really pivotal role. There will be plenty of scope for you to put forward ideas and make a real impact, working in a small and friendly team who are all really passionate about what they do.

The eCommerce Specialist role in a nutshell:

  • You’ll have responsibilities across their Magento platform including administration, maintenance and development.

  • There will be room for creativity too. You’ll work closely with the design and development teams, assisting with the design, test and evaluation of new website features and functionality. Helping to improve the overall user site experience and play an active part in optimising user journeys and maximising onsite conversion rates

  • When new functionality, platforms or features are rolled out, you’ll help support both internal and international teams

  • You will also investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data/website/functionality issues and liaise directly with customers and internal

  • Help configuring onsite, content, marketing campaigns and other promotional activity

  • Using Google Analytics and other internal tools to help identify appropriate site developments and improve the overall site engagement and conversion rates.

You’ll need a range of technical, digital and analytical skills. Here’s an idea of the experience you’ll need:

  • Previous experience working with Magento is highly desirable - however we'll also consider applicants with a good knowledge of any high volume ecommerce CMS/Platform e.g. Hybris, Sales Force, Shopify, BigCommerce

  • Commercial experience within an eCommerce environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills including time management, logical approach and great communication

  • Natural ability to use a variety of web tools, applications and software (e.g. Pentaho, Google Analytics, ZOHO, MailChimp, DotMailer, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Dreamweaver, Google Console and CMS platforms)

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO, UX design, SQL, PPC, Regex, Bizagi, AB testing and online marketing would be advantageous but not essential

The company are working remotely at the moment due to Covid-19 restrictions and it's likely this will continue until at least June. They're currently reviewing their plans for what things will look like longer term, but they anticipate this will involve a split of WFH and office working.
