We’re looking for someone to join a Demand Planning team within a highly successful company, who have a huge range of products that are highly recommended and sold all around the world. In this role, you'll ensure the optimum balance of demand and supply of the products through the analysis of data to support their proactive planning.
You might be a recent Maths, Data, Science or IT graduate or you may have prior experience working in a Data Analysis role, it doesn't matter, the most important thing is that you’re full of enthusiasm, have Advanced Excel skills and love working with data!
An overview of the key responsibilities as a Demand Planning Analyst:
Reviewing the movement of all products and assisting with formulating an ongoing demand plan
Delivering business process change and improvements using SQL code
Working collaboratively with sales and product teams to agree sales forecasts
Validating and entering the sales forecast into the company's planning tool
Proactively correcting any forecast errors and reviewing planning parameters
Analysing and cleansing data and creating reports as required
The skills and experience we’re looking for:
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Database experience including MS Excel or Access
SQL experience would be very beneficial, but the company are willing to train for the right candidate
Experience of data analysis in a working environment would be great, but not a must-have
Someone who works methodically with a structured approach to work, with excellent attention to detail
