We’re recruiting for a high growth information management and technology company who offer a range of products and services. They help their clients to improve their processes and bringing people, technology and information together in harmony.
They work with a wide variety of different clients in both the private and public sector. They work with each client to understand their pain points and determine business goals and requirements, will come up with an appropriate solution and then deploy it. As a result some project are short and simple, others are long-term and complex.
As a result of their success, they’re recruiting a Data Migration Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You’ll have the option to work remotely, but there is an office if you prefer - there will also be occasional travel to visit clients.
Your role will be to deliver migrations to Microsoft SharePoint environments, which will include setting up and configuring SharePoint Online and Office 365 and the associated technologies in the power platform. You’ll also be someone who is a great communicator and able to adapt depending on who you’re talking to, as you’ll be talking directly with clients.
Whilst experience working with these technologies in a similar role would be hugely advantageous, the company are very much looking for someone who is passionate, self-motivated and keen to learn, so for the right candidate they can provide training on this.
Your role in a nutshell:
Being the ‘go to person’ and point of contact for clients with requests or enquiries relating to data migration
Previous experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions would be highly beneficial
Problem solving and resolving issues that arise through to resolution, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed throughout
Providing technical and business advice by providing training and sharing your knowledge
Proactively seeking new product or industry developments
The skills and experience we’re ideally looking for:
Highly proficient with Excel for analysing and presenting data
Brilliant communication skills - you’ll be explaining complicated migration reports to the management team and to clients
Hands on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 - and specifically completing migrations to SharePoint Online from file stores or other platforms would be hugely beneficial
Experience with other Microsoft 365 applications, such as Yammer, Teams and OneDrive
Strong planning and organisation skills
