Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to help out and focus on all the financial sides of the business as they grow and get busier. This role would be ideal for someone looking for a 4-day week although this can be turned into full time if you are happy to help out with other areas of the business.
What will the role of Accounts Assistant involve?
Process the purchase invoices and purchase statements
Raise sales invoices and credit notes, ensuring that they are sent to the customer
Update customer payments
Credit control calls
Assist input sales orders
Deal with any proforma payments
Open ended and double entry book keeping
Managed accounts
AAT qualified, or working towards that, would be a bonus. You'll need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and a varied workload and be and be great at prioritising that too. There will be some flexibility if you want a mix of home working and being in office too.
