​UX/Digital Designer (Fixed -term maternity cover – 1 Year)

We’re working with a successful global business within a fast-paced industry who are looking for a UX/Digital Designer to work on a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will play an integral part in the development and performance of their B2C and B2B sites, creating seamless experiences for their customers. Based in Exeter, this company are experts in their field and well known within their industry. Responsibilities include:

•        Developing intuitive UX/UI designs that are relevant to both B2B and B2C audiences, evidencing understanding of WCAG 2 standards.

•        Taking ownership of the website theme, ensuring all key page redesigns are wireframed, prototyped and built conforming to brand style guidelines.

•        Build engaging landing pages that communicate brand messaging and drives business KPI’s.

•        Support the ecommerce and marketing teams by designing engaging social media and PPC assets with both new and existing audience in mind.

•        Undertake regular site reviews, monitoring site functionality and user behaviours with the ability to identify new opportunities to create seamless customer experiences.

•        Keeping up to date with trends and technologies to ensure the brand is relevant and up to date.

The right person for the job will have:

•        A passion for UX/UI Design

•        Experience within an ecommerce business

•        1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

•        A team player who is adaptable with a can-do attitude

•        Experience with HTML, CSS and Adobe Suite

•        Comfortable using Figma, XD or Sketch (or similar)

•        Organised but flexible in order to work on multiple projects and to deadlines.
