Ecommerce Trading Manager

Central London – On site

Circa £40k DOE

 

We are working with a national fashion brand who as well as having their own standalone stores, are stocked in some of the best-known shops on the high street. They are going through a period of growth and have created the new position of Ecommerce Trading Manager to ensure their website is maximising its potential and new opportunities are identified. You will be responsible for the optimisation of their new Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform as they push into new international markets.

 

Some of the responsibilities include:

·       Take ownership of creation and development of strategies to grow the site performance.

·       Conduct regular site walks ensuring web functionality for both mobile and desktop sites ensuring a maximised user experience.

·       Look at activities and improvements that will help to drive conversion, footfall and ATV.

·       Monitor competitor activity, offering up key insights and recommendations.

·       Investigate and analyse interactions between the ERP and BM.

·       Deliver regular reporting on shopper habits and website performance, identifying and quick wins.

·       Continuously look to improve the shopper experience in order to drive purchases through product recommendations, collections or promotions.

·       Develop a detailed understanding of what is selling and why, constantly looking at where opportunities lie and how the site is performing.

·       Implement frequent homepage design updates across all online channels in line with marketing messages.

·       Collaborate with the Marketing team to manage affiliate and paid shopping campaigns.

 

What we are looking for:

·       Ideally 4+years managing an ecommerce team.

·       Proactive in driving site performance and looking for growth opportunities.

·       Intermediate to advanced user of Salesforce Commerce platform.

·       Experienced in Microsoft office particularly in Excel.

·       Confident user of google analytics or Adobe SiteCatalyst.

·       Experience in email marketing platforms such as Dot Digital or Bloomreach.

·       Ideally experience in working within a fashion brand.

·       A positive person who enjoys collaborating with the wider team.

·       Experience with fashion management platforms such as Fashion Master Retail or similar.

·       The ability to work to tight deadlines, able to make reactive and informed decisions.

·       Confident and capable, able to communicate and present with all levels of people within the business.

·       Experience working with affiliates, logistics partners and 3rd party service providers.

·       Demonstrable knowledge of payment gateways and resolving problems with checkouts and checks.
