This is a newly created role, in a growing/well established company, that is designed to take some of the day to day operational responsibility away from the Head of the Department. It’s a varied role with line management responsibility for 2 members of HR staff as well as for a sizeable local, office based, workforce.
You’ll manage the HR function in line with the company strategy ensuring the business attracts and retains staff, builds a culture of excellence and is compliant/following best practice. The role covers people/performance management, compliance, budget management, HR projects etc.
We are looking for a highly experienced generalist HR Manager who must have MCIPD status. It’s assumed this person will have a good understanding of employment law, be an excellent communicator and is IT savvy. Must be approachable, organised, efficient and with good problem solving skills – and able to juggle a busy and demanding workload.
