    Totnes

This organisation was started over twenty years ago and has reached a pivotal stage of its growth. To support this, they’re looking for someone who can come in and, with a fresh pair of eyes, take a look how the business operates, and come up with a plan for the long term to make sure they continue to be commercially successful.

Your role will be to look at every aspect of the business to make sure it’s operating in the most efficient and organised way possible. And if it isn’t, you’ll to come up with the ideas (and deliver them) to make sure it is.

As a starter, it’s envisaged that this will involve looking at overall processes, procedures, systems and how the different departments and teams work together. If you’ve got some B2B marketing experience, this would be an added bonus.

It’s really important that you’re a people person and have experience of managing change that gets the buy-in of the existing team. While you’re a natural leader, your leadership style is consultative. You’ll have a great understanding of sales process and be commercially-minded.

Background-wise, this job’s going to suit someone that has experience in the education, visitor attraction, construction, landscaping, military or local authority sectors.

As well as having the right skills and experience, what’s equally important is that you share the company’s values and ethos. They’re a team that are hugely passionate about sustainability and do everything they can to protect the environment. They use natural products where ever possible, reuse and recycle everything they can – fundamentally they’re all about “doing the right thing”.

Due to their location, you’ll need to be able to drive and have your own transport. Their offices are rustic, so you’ll be somebody who doesn’t mind dressing casually for work and you’ll prefer not to be based in a corporate-type environment. For the right person, reduced hours will be considered.
