Do you have a natural interest in IT/ comms and enjoy sharing your knowledge so that others understand what is, a mystery to them? We are looking for a Customer Trainer who is confident, approachable and eager to learn yourself. This way you will get the most out of the training sessions – which might be with a group, or on a 1-2-1 basis – as you will look at it from a user’s perspective and anticipate the questions that you will be asked.
This is very much a customer facing role, with your time in the office carrying out admin, planning, contacting customers and liaising with internal teams.
The ideal candidate for this role must have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in customer facing role
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage varied workload
- Good administration ability
- Ability to travel and stay away from home
- Good working IT knowledge
- Full UK driving licence.
You will be fully trained on the product to ensure that you are able to give great customer service and customer care to ensure that existing and new customers will praise. As your knowledge grows there will be the opportunity for you to develop and expand your product info and associated training.
Do I need to have previously done training?
Not necessarily. You may have previously worked in retail, talking people through different technical/ product options, or perhaps you have worked in a tech support role. Or you may have done training internally. What is important is that you quickly build up a rapport with people, listen and want to help. Their level of understanding and knowledge will be different so you will need to adapt your approach and delivery to suit.
