Business Development Executive
£22k basic + uncapped commission
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a team of dynamic telesales executives for this well established Exeter-based company where you’ll be responsible for making appointments for the company’s sales teams. You’ll be someone who can easily build rapport with your prospective customers in order to get those appointments booked in.
The role is predominantly cold calling – you’ll be managing a list of contacts and building a strong pipeline for the sales team. You’ll become well-versed in the customer’s needs and be a familiar voice on the end of the phone. Although you’ll be working to a call target – this isn’t a company with a massive call centre that uses auto dialling to cram in as many calls as possible. This is a company that firmly believes in quality over quantity.
This company are in the IT industry but it doesn’t matter if you’re not an expert in this field as full training’s provided. You will however need to have telesales experience, have great telephone sales skills and be someone who’s used to working with a sales database.
What will you be like?
You’ll be someone who has a natural ability to identify a customer’s needs and turn that in to a sales opportunity. You’ll be someone who’s hungry to meet and exceed targets and have the enthusiasm to contribute to this vital part of the business. Someone who is reliable, passionate and has a good sense of humour would be a perfect fit.
