Accounts and Payroll Administrator
£19k – £25k DOE
My client, who is based in Crediton, are looking for an Accounts and Payroll Administrator to help them with their busy and growing accountancy business.
You will be working alongside a supportive and friendly team. Preferably, you will have experience on SAGE – but this is not essential, but what is important is you have current working knowledge of payroll processes and associated regulations. In addition, if you have experience of preparing accounts this is another area where you will be able to help clients.
Accounts and Payroll Administrator will see you carrying out:
- Setting up starters and leavers
- Making changes on the system
- Issuing of letters
- General accounts production – VAT, month end, bank recs
- General admin support.
What experience and skills are required?
- Sage (preferred)
- Working knowledge of current legislation of payroll and pensions
- Ability to use own initiative
- Be able to make own decisions
- Attention to detail
- Team player.
You will receive full training on the in-house systems and dependent on your current qualifications further training is also available. The company is open to the role being full or part time, but you will be required to work Wednesdays and Thursdays.
