You’ll be working for a well established, successful, growing, Exeter-based company that specialises in delivering ICT solutions to organisations throughout the UK. They work with a number of leading technology partners to deliver best of breed solutions across a number of sectors. This role will see you being responsible for the South West area.
As well as the ‘must haves’ of field and ICT sales experience, this company’s looking for someone who’s going from strength to strength in their career. You’ll be keen, upbeat and able to negotiate in order to secure new business in a highly competitive market. You’ll also be able to demonstrate that you’re used to dealing with senior decision makers from different sized companies and across a variety of industries.
You’ll be happy to create your own leads as well as develop those generated by the desk based sales team. As an experienced sales exec, you’ll be used to putting together sales documentation as well as using a CRM system to support the customer journey.

Technical Field Sales Executive - South West - Sarah West
Data Cleansing Administrator (6 – 18 month contract)
£18,000 + bonus
You’ll be joining a new team that this sizeable and successful company is setting up.
Your role will be to look at the quality of the data that sits behind their large eCommerce site, in each product category. At the moment the way products have been added is inconsistent – this project is about fixing that so that the data held and displayed for each one is the same and in the same format.
You’ll be someone who’s naturally inquisitive, who enjoys an element of research, data collection, speaking with suppliers to gather information, searching internal data sources and searching online resources. You’ll also get involved with physical stock reviews and reporting.
You’ll also be instrumental in the writing of a guide that will be used by the business globally to make sure the way that new products get added to the site is the same, no matter where they are!
We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail. Ideally you’ll have experience in data collation / validating data / data manipulation /data management skills using Excel and other tools. This could have been as part of a degree course. You must have excellent data entry skills and be happy to liaise with people internally and externally too.
You’ll be someone who can commit to a minimum of 6 months in the role although the company would love you to join them for longer as the project’s anticipated to take 18 months. There’ll also be a bonus one you’ve finished your contract.
For the role of Data Cleansing Administrator, you must have excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise, and work with, internal and external contacts are essential.
Data Cleansing Administrator - Exeter - Sarah West
My client, who is based in the centre of Exeter are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team. They are an independent company who mainly deal with high net worth clients. The culture is very much one of “No Blame”, open and will see you working on a diverse portfolio for both new and existing clients. It is not one that is focussed on the sales of products to its clients, but one where relationships are nurtured and long term.
The role is full time with the standard working hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm, however there is flexibility for the exact hours worked. You will work in a team of 5-6 people, and be expected to challenge when you believe there is a better way / option.
L & D is also a part of this role where you will be expected to undertake an annual plan to allowed your CPD.
Your role as Paraplanner will see you carrying out:
Analysing of clients’ requirements, development of cash flow models and accurate recording of client data
Construction of financial planning solutions (investment, retirement, tax and estate planning) supported by the production of computer models and reports
Recommendations – preparation of letters and reports (liaising with administrators), taking full responsibility for the client file and back office IT records throughout the advice process
Reviews – preparation of client reviews, updating cash flow models, investment performance reviews and production of supporting reports, discussion documents and computer models
Relationship Building – liaison with clients by telephone, letter, email and attending meetings
Coordination – working with administrative staff to ensure application and provider forms are prepared as required and clients are updated throughout the process.
As a Paraplanner, we are looking for someone who has:
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to listen, empathise and build trust with confident private clients who are frequently successful in their field of endeavour
Diploma – Level 4 minimum
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Able to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data with a view to diagnosing a challenge or opportunity and creating a suitable strategy for the client
Presenting solutions to Advisers and in some cases clients
Tactful, trustworthy, diplomatic and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
Ability to effectively use a variety of software (ie MS Office, CURO, Voyant, Finametrica)
Comfortable working on own initiative, setting and managing personal goals, directing workflow and managing often conflicting deadlines.
