Are you someone who’s ready to take the next step in their Marketing career? Would you like to join a creative agency that works with many outstanding, leading brands that have reach locally, nationally and in some cases globally too? If so, then read on!

You’ll be working for a hugely well-established and growing agency that will enable you to hone and develop your Marketing skills. You’ll get the opportunity to work with a team that have spent years in the industry – this really is an opportunity to learn from experts in their field. They are a hugely supportive bunch who will really take the time to transfer their skills and expertise to you, to enable you to develop.

Day-to-day you’ll work closely with the Account Managers to deliver various, different client campaigns. You’ll thrive in a busy and buzzy environment, where invariably no two days are the same. And this is what you thrive on!

As this is a broad marketing role, you’ll get the chance to be involved with lots of different campaign activity. A large part of this role will involve producing first-class content for a variety of channels and therefore you’ll be someone who thoroughly enjoys crafting words and visuals in to something meaningful and compelling for a variety of audiences, both B2B and B2C. In this role you’ll also get the opportunity to manage digital/social media channels, media monitoring, support events etc. You’ll be someone who’s prepared to get ‘hands on’ in order to get the results the clients are looking for.

You’ll also get the chance to support the management of different client accounts too – for example reporting on campaign progress and results, pitching for (and winning!) new business. Therefore, you’ll need to be someone who’s professional and confident when dealing with people in person and over the phone.

Ideally, you’ll come armed with a couple of years’ experience in a marketing role and be someone who’s looking to take a ‘step up’. That said, if you can show that you have the skills this role needs, that you’ve developed through, for example, a hobby – we’d still like to hear from you. Training and development is important to this team, so there’ll be lots of support along the way as you learn and progress.

This role is on the outskirts of Exeter and you’ll need to be able to drive/have your own transport to be able to get there.

If you’re interested and want to know more, please get in touch with Josh. Alternatively take a look at the other Marketing and Communications jobs we’re working on or connect with Josh on LinkedIn.

We are working exclusively for this client, who is looking for a PA to join the team. This is no ordinary PA role and we’re looking for someone who has incredibly high standards and is super-organised, who equally doesn’t mind having a degree of flexibility if something crops up that’s slightly out their normal work remit.

This is a part time role (16 hours) a week, Monday – Thursday, ideally with an 8.30am start but there is some flexibility around this.

As PA, there will of course be the normal tasks of diary management, organising correspondence – both sent and received, booking appointments and confirming attendance at events – many of which are for local and national charities. You’ll also manage subscriptions and make sure they’re renewed, organise travel arrangements and occasionally drive to/from events or appointments.

Essentially what we’re looking for is someone who can pre-empt what’s going to be needed and not be on the back foot when it comes to getting things done.

Personality-wise you’ll be someone who’s proactive, a real self-starter, who remains calm under pressure and is a great communicator. You’ll readily use your initiative to find out how to get things done if you don’t know already!

My client has a great opportunity for someone who has an accounts background, but is looking for something a little different.  The company offer something that is unique in the South West area and really helps companies change the way that they look at their accounting processes, to ultimately work more efficiently.

You’ll then identify what additional services to their current finance system are best going to help drive efficiencies both now and in the future. Ultimately, the additional services you suggested will enable the organisation to get more detailed information on their performance so they can more easily identify where changes might need to be made.

As well as the consultative side of this role, there will also be an element of carrying out day-to-day financial activities too such as accounts preparation, VAT returns, and book-keeping.  This will allow you to keep your accounting skills fresh and it’ll also help when going out to visit clients.

The role is on a part time basis (18 hours / week) and is a mix of you working from home and visiting clients, and on the odd occasion attending network events or seminars that the company is hosting or attending.

This organisation focuses on the recruitment of permanent senior managers for large, well-known, corporate clients. The roles you’ll be recruiting for are largely Europe-based, so an additional language would be an advantage but by no means a necessity. The nature of the roles you’ll be working on, come within the high salary bracket, so you’ll naturally be someone who’s driven to earn commission.

What’s most important to this organisation is that you share their values. They’re very much about finding good quality candidates for their clients – not quantity. They want the very best in terms of skills and experience and for you to hone in on those who are going to be a good cultural fit too.

Due to the type of candidates you’ll be dealing with, much of the contact is over the phone and by email – although of course you’ll be someone who can tailor the channels you use, according to who you’re working with. Your approach is consultative, you’re someone who’s incredibly professional, who can build a trusted relationship with the clients and candidates you work with.

With this role there’ll be little ‘new business’ involved. You’ll very much be dealing with existing clients, that this organisation’s been working with for some time, or warm leads that the Relationship Manager has generated.

Location-wise, the office is centrally located and the company will provide parking, if you need it. It’s a great working environment, with a lovely open plan office and atmosphere. There will be the opportunity to visit your European clients, with the rest of the UK-based team, a couple of times a year.

Although this a full-time role – typically 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday – there is some flexibility if you need it, hours-wise, for the right person.
