2nd/3rd Line Technical Support
£25k – £35k (DOE)
We’re working with a fantastic IT Consultancy that are looking to add to their support team with the creation of this 2nd/3rd Line Technical Support role.
Either you’ll have previous 2nd Line Support experience and are looking to progress into 3rd Line Support, or someone who already has similar experience – whether that’s from an ‘in house’ role or with another IT organisation. If you’ve got team leader experience that would be an added bonus as this job may come with the opportunity to manage the support team as the company continues to grow.
There’ll also be an element of Account Management involved as you’ll be the point of contact for a number of customers. As well as managing the resolution of any issues, you’ll be happy to give advice, guidance and make recommendations that’ll meet their ongoing needs.
This Technical Support job is going to suit someone who’s happy to take the lead but will get stuck in too when it’s needed – especially when there’s customer projects to get finished.
Your base with be in East Devon, although it’s expected that there will be some travel involved to customer sites, as needed. Being on call isn’t part of this role however you will need to be somewhat flexible during super-busy times, when overtime will be paid.
What experience will you have?
- At least 2 years experience in an IT Technical Support role for a broad range of technologies
- 2nd Line Technical Support experience
