We’re working with an ambitious software company based in Exeter who work on high-profile, global projects with a range of impressive clients. Their technology offers a practical solution, as well as supporting sustainability and the environment and promoting social inclusion.
You’ll be working alongside a small, close-knit team of developers, and a project and product team. Until now they’ve been using a contractor for their UX/UI work, but due to their success and volume of work they’re now looking to create an internal role. This means there’s the opportunity to take real ownership of the UX/UI and will be working across the full spectrum of their digital ecosystem.
What we’re looking for:
Someone who has previously worked in a UX or Digital Design role with web and app experience
A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise and ability to come up with creative solutions
Experience with modern design tools including the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
Happy working as the sole UX/UI Designer, working closely with a development, content and data teams
QA checking work in progress and live platforms
Somebody who understands that whilst platform UX/UI is the primary focus, it’s a smaller business so there will also be occasional adhoc design to support other areas of the business
