As the company continues to grow, they are on the search for an exceptional UI / UX Mobile App Designer to join their team to improve their technology to allow them to help more people. Joining a highly skilled and motivated team, you’ll be working collaboratively to help transform the company’s mobile and web applications.

You’ll be someone who is innovative and enthusiastic, with strong experience of UI / UX design. You’ll work closely with the development team to understand the requirements and map user journeys, workshops, prototype and test designs with the user community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Researching and deconstructing the digital interactions and habits of the users

  • Collecting and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with other members of the technical team

  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

  • Designing graphic user interface elements

  • Developing UI mock ups and prototypes

  • Creating original graphic designs (sketches, tables and images)

  • Preparing and presenting rough drafts to the internal team and key stakeholders

  • Troubleshoot UX problems

  • Come up with ideas for UI and UX strategies based on the company objectives

The skills and experience we’re looking for as a UI / UX Designer:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a UI / UX role and a portfolio of professional design projects - with examples of both mobile and web applications

  • Experience and up-to-date knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and wireframe tools (Wireframe.cc and InVision)

  • Someone with real enthusiasm, creativity and excitement - who is not afraid to suggest new ideas!

  • Good time management skills

  • A team player, able to work closely with various departments within the company, clients and end users
