We’re recruiting for a Technical Support role, for a growing technology team based in Exeter. They provide specialised technology for a broad range of clients and this role will focus on getting new clients on board and providing support over the long term. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining good client relationships and be someone who gets real satisfaction from providing great customer service.
Day to day you will be responsible for raising and managing support tickets, making sure they’re escalated to the right teams and are resolved with the agreed timescales – making sure clients kept up to date throughout the process. You’ll be responsible for liaising between the support and development teams.
What skills are required for the role of Technical Support?
Previous experience in a technical support role
Previous experience of databases and scripts
A logical thinker and excellent problem solver
Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner, who enjoys building relationships
Ability to work well in a busy environment
You’ll receive excellent training and there are opportunities to progress within the company too, over time and as they grow.
The role will mainly be office-based to begin with as you get up to speed however there will be some flexibility to do some working from home too.
