If you are an experienced eCommerce Project Manager looking for a new challenge, and you have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex and varied projects, then this could be for you! You’ll need to have worked in a Project Manager role with a focus on eCommerce/software before.

The purpose of the role is to drive strategic projects to help the company to meet their short and long-term objectives. You’ll manage a portfolio of projects each with unique requirements, working closely with other departments and third parties to ensure things run smoothly.

Every day will be varied as you’ll be responsible for seeing each project through the planning, direction, implementation and documentation stages.

You’ll be part of a small (but busy!) Project Management team, working alongside one other eCommerce Project Manager, so projects will be shared. You'll need to be hands on at times, hence the need for someone with technical experience.

Day to day, your role will involve:

  • Planning and implementing a range of strategic projects

  • Helping to define project scopes, goals and deliverables

  • Managing budgets and allocating project resources

  • Monitor and report on project progress

  • Identify and resolve issues and risks

  • Managing project related documentation

  • Improving processes and procedures where possible

Skills and experience required for the eCommerce Technical Project Manager role:

  • Experience in an eCommerce Project Management role

  • An understanding of online technologies that include HTML, PHP, CSS

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels – both internally and externally

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Methodical and structured approach with an ability to manage competing priorities

This is a great opportunity to join this well-established, Exeter-based organisation that has exciting growth plans in the months ahead.
