​We’re looking for an experienced developer who can provide technical leadership, analysis, design and development experience to an innovative technology company in Exeter, and their clients. You’ll work across multiple projects and will take ownership of deliverables to ensure they meet time, budget and quality requirements.

You will also be involved in the technical aspects of pre-sales opportunities, so you’ll be someone who enjoys having a client-facing aspect to your role too. You’ll present to clients, performing technical analysis for functional and non-functional requirements, providing quality customer-orientated documentation and help to accurately assess the cost to deliver the proposed solution.

The experience and skills we’re looking for:
  • Exceptional development leadership skills in a commercial software delivery environment

  • A strong understanding of the latest Microsoft web and Windows technologies (C#.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Reporting Services, MVC and JavaScript)

  • Previous experience of technical analysis, enterprise software architecture design, wireframe and mock-up tools

  • Some experience of pre-sales, consultancy assignments and project management of small projects

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience delivering presentations

  • Worked within Agile and Waterfall project frameworks, concepts and methodologies

Experience of any of the following would be a bonus:
  • Development experience in HTML5, Python, VB6, Delphi, PHP, C++, iOS and Android development, CRM Dynamics and Xamarin

  • Cloud services experience e.g. Azure

  • Worked on commercial Agile projects

  • Experience/certification/interest in PowerBI, cloud based data warehouse, Architecture Integration services
