This role as Stock Administrator is working for an international company, based on the outskirts of Exeter, with public transport links. The role is currently on a working from home basis, but to allow you to be fully supported in your training, it is expected that you will initially need to be in the office 3 days/ week; of course, with all of the Covid safety compliant working conditions applied.
Your role as Stock Administrator will be to record the stock lists and dealing with purchase orders. You will be involved with the recording of stock movements, the monitoring and tracing of consignments, helping with audits as well as updating and maintaining stock reports.
You will need to be someone who is competent on Excel and comfortable working with V-Lookups, charts and pivot tables.
What will my role as Stock Administrator include?
Updating the system regarding stock received – including adjustments
Processing warehouse transfers
Administrating the purchase orders
Liaise with the company’s other international offices
Have regular contact with logistics companies
Supply stock information with other departments
Prepare monthly inbound reports
Carry out stock reconciliation investigations and resolve discrepancies
Carry out system / data information testing
Review and submit rework requests.
Skills and experience we are looking for in a Stock Administrator:
Intermediate in Excel
Previous administration experience – preferably in stock/ supply chain
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proven organsiational skills
SAP experience (desirable).
