Dogs and social media, what’s not to love?!

If you’re a big fan of dogs and love to create exciting, standout content, then this is the role for you. As the Social Media Executive, you’ll be responsible for implementing and overseeing the social media strategy for the business. By creating captivating content, you’ll aim to increase brand awareness and grow the business’s social media channels.

With a large marketing team already in place, teamwork and collaborative working is key for our client. If you’re fun, creative and can understand the strategy behind content and marketing, then this is certainly a role to consider.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining social media channels to increase engagement and growth of followers.

  • Develop and implement a social media content plan, alongside the rest of the team.

  • Create and curate strong, compelling content that helps promote key values, beliefs, and personality.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to suggest and develop new content for social media in response to product news or marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure content on the website is amplified appropriately across social media channels and that traffic is driven to the site.

  • Stay ahead of the curve on the latest social media trends, introducing new ideas to the content plan to increase the growth of engagement and followers across social media channels.

  • Analyse, review, and report on the performance of social media channels each month.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communications or similar, or equivalent industry experience

  • Min 2 years experience in social media with proven success

  • Strong written communication skills and ability to write catchy content

  • Excellent time management skills and experience working in a busy communications/social media environment

  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively

  • Confident in analysing social media metrics

  • Experience using social media scheduling tools

  • Knowledge of content management systems
