Our client, a leading retail supply business, has an excellent opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join their large and growing team on a full-time basis.
As Social Media Executive, you‘ll be responsible for delivering the organic social media strategy for the various company brands. You’ll work across the main social media platforms to deliver engaging customer facing activity and drawing on your experience and natural creative flair deliver their social media presence, raising the company profile by positioning them as the go-to retailing business in the UK within their industry and engaging with both new and existing audiences.
With at least two years of digital marketing experience under your belt, it goes without saying that you’ll be someone who’s results driven. With a real passion for all things social media related, you’ll love nothing more than keeping up to date with the latest developments and be someone who’s not afraid to use them - while following best practice at the same time.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Implementing the social media strategy across Facebook, Twitter and the newly created Instagram account on a day to day basis
Working closely with the wider marketing team to take briefs to deliver appropriate social media campaigns
Identifying opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement through other digital channels e.g. landing pages
Manage the social media calendar and make sure that interesting and creative posts are scheduled
Measuring and evaluating all activity and report back on key metrics and update on performance
Ideally, you’ll have a relevant degree but this isn’t essential. What’s important is that you have experience handling social media channels in a B2C in environment and have used content management tools such as Hootsuite or Creator studios. You also, obviously, have a passion for content creation!
