We are currently looking for a Sales Support Executive to join this Global manufacturing and wholesale company. You will be joining a company that employs over four hundred people worldwide. The company has been in business for over fifty years and comprises of trading companies worldwide.

You will receive a salary of up to £26.5k and your working week will be Monday to Friday. You will also receive a great benefits package, including company pension, critical illness cover, life assurance plan, and after two years of service, the opportunity to join a profit share scheme.

The Sales Support Executive will be part of a worldwide team, operating between customers and departments within the business. Working in conjunction with the export sales team to grow sales and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will co-ordinate between customer, the Finance Team and the Quality team to ensure orders are correctly dispatched and that invoicing is completed in a timely manner.

You will be working in a small team, and this role is evolving. You will have a great opportunity to make the role your own and develop within the company.


You will be responsible for the following;

  • Provide point of contact customer support.

  • Help customers to identify the most appropriate parts for their needs.

  • Dealing with quotations for customers.

  • Engage in outbound sales and marketing activity.

  • Dealing with customer orders and returns.

  • Support all Regional Sales Managers with technical and commercial requests.

  • Liaise with internal departments to handle/support requests from Area Sales Managers and/or customers.

  • Undertake data analytics to determine new prospect customers.

  • Undertake data analytics to determine new sales opportunities.

  • Pro-actively engage with customers to inform them of sales promotions.

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing actions.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong administration background, be comfortable liaising with internal departments and external customers, and have a good working knowledge of MS Office. You will be customer focussed, and comfortable in dealing with queries by telephone. You will have the ability to prioritise workload and manage your own time.
