Are you someone at the start of your sales career, who has gained some experience and is now ready to take on the IT world? Then this is the role for you….

This is a brand-new role in the business, specifically designed to support their thriving current clients with new projects, selling the right solutions. The role sits alongside the Customer Success Team, taking on inbound leads from their relationship building and jumping on opportunities as they arise. This role has been implemented to bring a hungry salesperson into the business, to train and develop them in the art of selling IT solutions, whilst getting hands on – learning on the job!

We’re looking for someone on the upward curve of their career, keen to break into the IT industry. This role is all about harnessing your natural people skills and interest in the sector, learning everything you can to progress within the business. A prime opportunity for someone ambitious, driven and willing to go above and beyond to shape their career....

The role

  • Work alongside the Customer Success team, identifying potential upcoming projects with existing accounts.

  • Taking on complex IT projects to get the sale over the line.

  • Developing your knowledge in the IT space, understanding each product and building upon this with each new project you take on.

  • Achieving targets, working towards deadlines and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Working closely with the Business Development Director, gaining training and development, providing you with guidance on best practices, quotes/proposals, management of projects etc.

  • Attend meetings alongside the Customer Success team when a new opportunity has been identified or looks like there could be in the pipeline.

  • Attend networking events on behalf of the company, representing the brand.

  • Continuous learning and development - day one is the start of your progression path!  

Got what it takes?

  • Passionate about forging a career in the IT sector.

  • You're a natural people person, able to build rapport quickly and confident walking into any new environment.

  • A quick learner with a drive to progress.

  • Some experience in a sales role would be hugely beneficial, however, we aren't looking for someone already in the IT sector, unless transitioning into sales from customer service, sales support etc.

  • Hunger and tenacity.

  • Patience and confidence - if you put in the leg work, the progression and rewards will follow.
