This role is working for a super successful Exeter-based business, where as their new Sales Estimator, you’ll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, whether they’re on the phone, by email, in person or through the website/social media.
You’ll work alongside potential and existing customers to understand their requirements in detail, and based on this, pull together and share the different options available to them. You’ll put together sometimes complicated quotations to support this, so you’ll need to be someone who absolutely loves detail, as you work through any tweaks and changes the customer would like, until they’re in a position to make a final decision and go ahead with an order.
You will be working in a small, tight-knit sales team, who work on multiple projects at the same time, so you’ll be someone who’s used to juggling priorities, is highly organised and be willing to chip in and help others in the team.
This is a predominantly office-based role, there might be times when you’ll need to visit a customer on-site, although this isn’t a regular thing. there will be times when you’ll need to go on customer visits.
This organisation is looking for someone with takes pride in the great service that they give customers, who’s keen to learn about their products inside-out, and enjoys a sales element to their role, without the ‘hard sell’.
If you’ve got a background in one of the following industries, this would be a bonus but is no way essential: Housing, construction, development, kitchen designer, architect technician.
