Sarah West Recruitment are looking for our very first Recruitment Resourcer to join our extremely busy Office Division. Although we are predominantly working very effectively at home, we actually love to hang out with each other, at least one day per week in the Office at Topsham, Dart Farm so access to transport and a driving licence is vital. 

You will be a part of a wider team who specialise in recruiting for a variety of SME and national clients which require staff in: Sales and Marketing, IT and Tech and Office, HR, Operations. 

The ideal candidate would be motivated to learn and grow professionally, be curious by nature, have a good telephone manner, be organised, Social Media savvy, an instinctive match-maker and up for the all the challenges that Recruitment can throw at you. You’ll embody our values, be the best person to work with and be compassionate with every interaction. 

Previous experience in this type of role would a real bonus but not essential. This role would suit someone who has worked in HR and wants to explore specialising in recruitment. Of course, we’ll consider any other backgrounds, its really more about the person. 

Your role as a Recruitment Resourcer will be to work as part of a team, under the supervision and direction of a senior recruitment consultant, to work on job vacancies across the full spectrum of the various industries, nurture candidate and client relationships and spot talent in a crowd of CV’s. 

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing and researching client job descriptions and Person Specifications to gain a full understand of each role.

  • Searching across a variety of job boards, internal databases and social media, to source candidates for vacancies.

  • Updating the internal database with accurate notes, activity, and client information. 

  • Engaging with potential candidates, both active and passive, conducting telephone interviews to assess potential suitability for current client job vacancies.

  • Reviewing CV's to see if they have relevant experience for jobs, recruiting for, as well as advising candidates to prepare suitable CVs for relevant positions.

  • Actively spotting talent and identifying ways to showcase those candidates to our existing clients via Spec-in and social media channels. 

  • Administration associated with scheduling candidates in for interviews.

  • Liaising with different consultants with the view to identifying suitable candidates. 

  • Answer the phone in a timely manner

  • Building rapport with candidates and clients whilst keeping professionalism at all times.

  • Provide administration support to the Senior Consultant
