This is a superb opportunity to join a company who are the software solution of choice for a variety of high-profile clients across the world. As the Product Owner, you’ll be defining and owning the strategic product roadmap and end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of ongoing projects. Working closely with the rest of the Product team, you will ensure everyone is working towards the same goal.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating internally and externally to understand client needs and translate them into product requirements.

  • Prioritising work, managing the product backlog and delivering the product road map.

  • Developing user stories with acceptance criteria.

  • Assessing product progress at each stage of the process.

  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates.

  • Getting involved with Scrum meetings and product sprints.

  • Contributing to shaping and defining the vision for the product.

  • Using a range of techniques to feed into product prioritisation e.g. data, analytics and customer feedback.

  • Communicating concept, sharing ideas and progress across the business and to clients.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous Product Owner experience with a strong focus on user centred design (ideally within a SaaS business)

  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels and across different functions, and able to gently push back when needed.

  • A good understanding and experience of Scrum/Agile delivery

  • Well developed interpersonal and influencing skills, and someone who is self-motivated

Company benefits and reasons we think this opportunity is great:

  • The company offer hybrid working, so you don’t necessarily need to live in or around Exeter, but you’ll need to be able to work from the office around 2 days a week.

  • It’s an environment that supports ambition and personal growth - so everyone receives a personal training and accreditation budget.

  • Generous holiday allowance - you’ll join with 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and a day off for your birthday. After 2 years’ service this rises by a day a year (up to 30 days) too.

  • Loyalty bonus for different work anniversaries and a fully paid weekend away every 5th work anniversary.

  • Discretionary company bonus.

  • Each department has a budget for socials and entertainment - you’ll choose as a team how and when you spend it!

  • Monthly raffle with decent prizes.

  • And the boring (but important) ones - company pension scheme and parking!
