​We’re searching for a Pricing Manager to join a well-established and market leading company based in Exeter. You’ll combine strong pricing or financial analysis skills with great people skills, as you’ll be managing and supervising one Pricing Analyst initially, but this team will grow over time too!​

The company have a wide range of products, spanning across different brands and markets, and operating on an international basis – which brings lots of different variables! You’ll develop and manage pricing strategies for the company, working closely with other stakeholders in the business to understand the complexities they face and using this input to aid decisions around pricing.​

Your responsibilities as Pricing Manager:

  • Manage and supervise other members of the pricing team and oversee all pricing activities

  • Taking ownership of pricing as a whole – understanding the impact of pricing on DVP and completing financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness

  • Maintaining and regularly updating a pricing history database

  • Analysing cost price movements and new price/volume opportunities, and communicating this accordingly

  • Reviewing price change requests to evaluate DVP impact, potential incremental volume and local market price levels

  • Standardising the price change process request and developing templates to ensure this is efficient and easy to use

The experience and skills you’ll need:

  • Relevant work experience - strong knowledge of pricing or financial analysis

  • A strategic thinker with strong business analytic skills sets including strong Excel, Transactional SQL and data modelling skills

  • Experience of strategic price scenario modelling

  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to senior management

  • Demonstrable ability to multitask and set priorities

  • Exhibits the ability to teach and help others professionally

  • A passion for problem solving, flexibility and someone with great attention to detail

The role is currently remote however, a hybrid approach to working will be adopted in the future.​
