Two days are never the same…This role is fast-paced, ever- evolving, pressurised (at times) and rewarding all in one go. Being razor sharp with detail, keeping on top of various moving parts and being avid completer finisher is what this role is all about. The occasional opportunity for overseas trips, which for the right person could be very exciting!
Things you’ll be involved in are:
Supported by the Operations Team Leader
Responding to current and prospective customer requirements by processing orders, invoices, sales contracts, and arranging logistics.
Liaise with and supporting international colleagues on a regular basis via virtual platforms, telephone, and email
Inputting data accurately and update the company operating system accordingly
Checking and issuing purchase and sales contracts to customers
Organising shipping and logistics (import/export) for large volume National and International orders
Working to strict deadlines
By the pure nature of this role, on occasions, you might find yourself working a touch over your contracted hours to meet the customer needs. Rest assured this flexibility is reciprocated.
You’ll be:
An excellent communicator (and more importantly listener) with a good telephone manner
A great organiser with exceptional attention to detail
A positive ‘can do’ ‘roll up your sleeves and muck in’ kind of a person
A strong IT user including Microsoft office, with particular emphasis on Excel
An experienced MS Dynamics user – A real bonus!
A commercially focused and a confident self-starter
A keyboard wizard – accurate every time with no typos!
A numeric, comfortable working with data and detailed record-keeping
Previous experience working in import/export is highly desirable
Candidates speaking a second language (Spanish, French, Italian) would be highly desirable too
Full ‘on the job’ training will be provided
Taking all the above into account, we’d love to hear from people from all logistics and administration backgrounds. If you thrive in environments where people are the ‘name of the game’ and you’re highly organised, detailed driven and willing to learn please don’t hesitate to apply.
