This is a really varied role working for a small business, on the outskirts of Exeter. Due to being busy and the continued growth of the company, they are looking for an Office Coordinator to join them. The company are looking for someone who can work around the hours of Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12pm – 5pm, though there is some flexibility around this.

Your role will be a job share, with the Office Manager, who will be there to provide you with support and training, as will be the wider team. You will be someone who enjoys getting the business admin done in a super-efficient way, to support the team, with of course the upmost attention to detail. One minute you might be making travel arrangements (of course when this is permitted), the next putting together an information pack, booking meetings and being that person (who as a team with the Office Manager) gets everything done for the team to be able to do their job.

What will my role of Office Coordinator involve?

  • Being the 1st point of contact for enquiries

  • Arrange and book meetings

  • Put together packs for customers/ colleagues

  • Researching businesses

  • Updating the CRM system

  • Ordering of material – for both presentation and meeting rooms

  • Dealing with IT problems – don’t panic they have a 3rd party supplier for you to contact

  • Completing expenses.

What are we looking for in an Office Coordinator?

  • Great phone manner

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to multi-task

  • Strong IT skills and willing to learn working on new platforms

  • Resilient

  • Task orientated – but finds jumping from one task to another a breeze.

The team have a wonderful outlook, you will have your responsibilities (and relish in them) but together you support one another and want to do a good job, for your colleagues and customers. When you are in the office, there is free parking (due to the location you will need your own transport) as well as 25 days holiday, full training, and a discretionary bonus.
