This leading technology company are searching for someone to join their Infrastructure team to help contribute towards the maintenance, administration and support of its infrastructure and related services.

Responsibilities as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Assisting with the design, operation and maintenance of the company’s products and supporting infrastructure

  • Learn, contribute and support with infrastructure tasks such as AWS and the related technologies

  • Working in line with all company policies e.g. Information Security Management

  • Completing a variety of administrative housekeeping tasks within the Infrastructure team to ensure things run smoothly and are well-maintained

  • Contributing towards good quality documentation throughout all stages (design, configuration and deployment)

  • Providing a triage support function within the Infrastructure team

 

The skills and attributes you’ll need for this role include:

  • Someone who has a good understanding of networking principles and is keen to learn new technologies

  • Knowledge of Linux operation systems (Linus accreditations would be a bonus!)

  • Great communication and team work skills

  • A natural problem solver

  • AWS experience/accreditations are desirable but not essential
