Due to their incredible success and rapid growth, an innovative company based in Exeter are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join the team.
You’ll provide guidance and direction to the wider team on numerous critical projects – from conception through to successful delivery. As a result, we’re looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The role in a nutshell:
Overseeing all aspects of multiple projects through to successful delivery, considering factors such as timescales, costs, scope and any potential risks or issues.
Putting together project funding proposals including project budgets and operating plans
Supporting the transition to Agile Scrum methodology
Creating an evaluation method to enable reflection of project successes and areas that could be improved
Producing accurate and timely reporting on the status of a project throughout its lifecycle
Ensuring projects follow best practice (PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL)
Leading and inspiring the wider team
The skills and experience you’ll need:
Strong experience as an IT Project Manager in a SaaS environment (5 years+) with experience of the full delivery lifecycle
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Experience of project delivery processes, tools and methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile Scrum and ITIL
Confident with Microsoft Project, Excel, Teams and Jira
Writing clear and concise project reports and plans
Ability to adapt and keep up with the fast-paced schedule of work
Great time management and organisation skills
A natural problem solver – able to work autonomously and using initiative
Someone who is used to working alongside numerous stakeholders
Emotional intelligence, tact, honesty and diligence
