​Have you got experience planning, coordinating or managing IT Projects? Are you proactive and a good organiser? We’re recruiting for a brand new role with a company who have grown exponentially over the last few years, with some big plans ahead. As they’ve grown there is an increasing need for someone to act as a conduit between their technical and sales teams, to ensure all projects run smoothly and in line with agreed timescales and budget.

You’ll help to plan and schedule ongoing projects through to completion, taking responsibility to track project deliverables, monitoring progress and communicating any relevant updates to the customers.

Your role in a nutshell as an IT Project Coordinator:

  • Facilitating project meetings with a focus of accountability and objectives

  • Preparing monthly management reports regarding projects that have been completed and also those that are in progress

  • Ensuring all documentation, supporting materials and project plans are updated and available for internal members of the team

  • Taking a creative and thoughtful approach to planning projects and resource scheduling, ensuring an interactive and ongoing dialog between the technical team and the sales team, as well as the customer

It’s really important that you have the right attitude and approach, so you’ll be someone who is keen to build strong relationships with customers and aims to exceed expectations.

In terms of experience required, we’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of planning projects and scheduling (IT Project Management, IT Project Coordinator etc)

  • A PRINCE2 qualification or similar would be advantageous

  • Strong interpersonal skills - this role requires excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Attention to details

  • A natural organiser/multitasker

Whilst the company are working remotely at the moment, candidates will need to live within a commutable distance of Plymouth.
