We’re currently recruiting for a well established IT company based in Exeter. They’re a relatively small team, but have a fantastic reputation and work with a number of different clients across Devon and beyond - so they’re certainly kept busy! Due to an increase in demand, they’re now looking for an additional IT Engineer to join their team.
Predominantly your role will be office based, but for around 2 days a week you’ll be out and about and visiting clients on site. You’ll need to be technically minded but able to adapt your communication style and explanation accordingly, and be someone who strives to provide excellent customer service.
Your role will involve:
Responding to incoming calls and support tickets
Day to day analysis, diagnosis and resolution of any client issues (via email, phone or in person) working to achieve and exceed SLA’s
The setup and installation of Windows Servers and Microsoft based networks including all security products
Providing remote access support for all networks and associated equipment
Experience we’re looking for:
Experience working in different industries or MSP experience is required due to the variety of clients this company works with
Previous experience in Windows Server, IP Networking LAN’s/WAN’s, security knowledge, AD and PowerShell scripting
Good experience of Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS
Someone with a sense of humour - the team work hard but like to have a laugh along the way
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to listen
Logical and proactive approach to solving problems
Able to manage client expectations
