You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, establishing business requirements and delivering a range of different projects to drive the business forwards and increase value through their applications, systems and infrastructure.

The position requires excellent communication skills as you’ll be working alongside the Business team and the Technical team.

Key responsibilities as an IT Business Analyst:

  • Managing change requests from the wider team using internal systems

  • To understand what specific departments do, understand how they could be improved and establishing their IT needs to map IT business processes

  • Recognising IT and business needs of projects using appropriate models and techniques to form a functional specification document and capture information such as priorities and benefits

  • Producing project reports and documentation including feasibility studies, requirements, request for proposal, statement of work and business readiness plans

  • Working with the wider IT project team and handing over projects

  • Communicating with key stakeholders during project mapping stage

  • Producing weekly status reports

  • Ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and 27001 frameworks.

The skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar Business Analyst role

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, working to deadlines

  • Practical experience of mapping business processes, gathering requirements and identifying and implementing appropriate changes

  • Report writing skills of a high standard

  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
