​This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious sales person to join an award-winning, local company who are in their next phase of growth. This is a brand-new role, within the sales team to support this.

The role will involve the full sales cycle, developing new business leads, going out to appointments and closing a sale. This is a highly consultative and technical role, so your ability to build a trusted rapport and relationship with clients is key. This is very much a development role, so there will be lots to learn and take on - you will be supported every step of the way but will learn whilst doing. There will be regular networking and events to attend and you’ll start going out to meeting straight away, alongside the Sales Manager to develop your skill set and industry knowledge - for this we do require a full UK driving licence.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop their career, who has experience dealing with new business, B2B.(1-2yrs) The ideal candidate will be ambitious, able to adapt quickly and very much a people person. The team is small but will be growing, with this role being the starting point. The main thing we are looking for is someone who has the ability to think strategically, has a passion for selling and adding value to their clients. The industry you come from isn’t important, but confidence dealing with new leads and developing a sales pitch from scratch is.

You’ll be working between the New Business team and Account Managers, meaning your role will have elements of both. Progression is the main thing on offer here, with vast opportunity to become a more senior member of the team, whether that be in Account Management or New Business.
