Part Time – Flexible Working Patterns Available

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Exeter based client as a HR & Learning and Development Specialist.


Our client has created a team of dedicated and knowledgeable staff that understand what it takes to be successful within their industry. They are the experts in guiding, advising, and supporting their clients throughout the journey.


They are now looking to build and strengthen their team further with a specialist who is motivated, enthusiastic and is looking for a role that they can get stuck into and make their own.


This is a new position within the business so will require someone who has the necessary experience and is excited by a challenge.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and design all company Learning & development programmes for each member of staff

  • Ensure staff are aware of their professional development plans and kept on schedule

  • Promote a culture that is supportive of the HR purpose, aims and values to the company, and to take reasonable steps to maintain good employee relations

  • Ensure company compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, professional codes of practice are adhered to, and all Company policies are reflective of these

  • Provide a consultative service to the team, including advice and support as required

  • Manage the inhouse HR supporting software

  • Develop and manage policies and contribute to the company’s strategic plan by developing initiatives alongside the senior team

  • Support managers during the interview and recruitment process

 
You will require exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to problem solve, demonstrate experience of running learning and development programmes and can effectively work under pressure and multitasks within a fast-changing environment.

Excellent IT proficiency and a minimum of Level 3 CIPD with the ambition to develop would be advantageous.
