We have a wonderful opportunity for a part-time HR Advisor/ Officer role for an organisation based in Paignton, but will initially see you working from home. Initially, the role is on a fixed term contract (4-6 months) and will be for 15-20 hours, with some flexibility required to work a few more additional hours when needed.
The organisation is growing and in need of someone to help with employee’s queries, especially in relation to furlough. Your role will see you sending out letters to confirm current furlough arrangements, collating of these and ensuring that they are filed onto the system, and ensure the related contract amendments are made. The recording of holidays will be another area that you will oversee, as well as advising on number of days accrued and also maternity/ paternity/ adoption leave.
The payroll is run on a monthly basis, which is a mixture of salary and hourly paid members of staff. For those with timesheets, you will be entering and sense checking them and passing onto a bureau who calculate the final pay.
You will have a direct line manager who is carrying out this as part of their role so there will be someone to guide and support you.
The role could well become permanent and see you working on exciting projects that they have in their growth plan.
